I think like the person who has to build it and design like the person who has to use it. Six years in, it's still the part of my job I like the most.
I start with the problem, not the pixels. I like untangling complicated products — figuring out what's actually broken and how to keep design, engineering, and business moving together.
When I'm not designing, I'm probably playing with my dog, working out, moshing at metal shows, getting destroyed in a video game, watching anime, or getting on planes.
